Shapiro at Large

Joni Mitchell turned 70 the other day! Here she is at her best!

It was Valentine’s Day, 1974 and it was a matinee performance of Bob Dylan & The Band at the Los Angeles Forum. I believe that much of the show was recorded for the album Before The Flood. It was a great show. That same night I saw Phil Ochs and Mimi Farina perform in Pasadena. I don’t have the ticket stub for that one though.

Here is a nice performance of Paul McCartney’s new song. Have you noticed that I play a Paul McCartney song every single week on Shapiro at Large? Perhaps that is why Shapiro At Large is America’s favorite radio program!
