  • KUSP develops and releases audited financial statements every year. We are required to perform an annual audit of our financial statements as a condition of the grants we receive from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

    We file an annual information return with the Internal Revenue Service on Form 990, based on our audited financial statements. The public information copy of Form 990 is linked on this page.

    KUSP’s fiscal year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30.

    In addition to the reports that are available on this page, copies of other reports are available for public inspection during regular business hours at our main studio, located at 203 8th Avenue in Santa Cruz. These include statistical reports on our workforce, finance and station activity reports filed with the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and a variety of reports and applications we have filed with the Federal Communications Commission. Minutes of open meetings of our boards and committees are also available.

    Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM (except holidays). Copies of paper documents open to public inspection are available for a charge of five cents per page. Some documents are stored digitally. Copies of digital documents on compact disc are available for purchase at a cost of $1.00 per CD.
